What you describe is similar to what EMC has used Jive Clearspace for to some extent. I encourage you to check out the following:

I&#039;m looking for someone to help me brainstorm about how to integrate social media with Six Sigma.  I believe that if someone figured out how to properly tailor and align social software with the DMAIC model for process improvement, management would be more than persuaded...even in very traditional businesses.  I&#039;m not really a Six Sigma guy, just a waffle-thinkin&#039; type of IT guy looking for very practical business value from our social software.

Don&#039;t know of anyone considering this direction.  Your thoughts?</description>
